Evagation - Emptiness

An indie-game that I'm currently making. This is simply a prototype to try the idea.

This game is heavily inspired by the novel Evagation. A novel written by the creator of this game.

Evagation: Emptiness is an adventure game where you play as William, the main character, and follow his story to find something to fill the empty feeling inside him. Go through all the obstacles he will face and find the missing piece of his soul!

 — Hand-drawn pixel-art that recovers colors as William finds happiness

The art in this game is all hand-drawn and starts to gain colors the more William finds clues to his emptiness. The dark colors represent how much emptiness is within him.

 — Relatable coming of age story

The game is inspired by Evagation: Emptiness, a coming of age novel written by the creator himself. The game mostly follows the same paths and has a package of emotions — which is why it can feel relatable at times.

— Branching storyline where your choices matter

Your choices influence some events in the game. Whether you chose to go a dark path or a lighter one — it's all up to you.

You may find some easter eggs laying about in the game, so make sure to keep your eye on them!
